World Conquest Zvezda Plot focuses on a little girl named Kate Hoshimiya , who is at the helm of an organization called Zvezda, which has the purpose of World Conquest. In her organization she is joined by Itsuka Shikabane (also known as Lady Plamya), Natalia "Natasha" Vasylchenko , Yasubee "Yasu" Morozumi, Goro Shikabane , and a robot named Roboko. One day, main character Asuta Jimon, a middle school boy who ran away from home due to family issues, ends up meeting Kate on the street, and subsequently getting roped into joining Zvezda with them. Venera is the leader of Zvezda, an organization with the objective of conquering the world.....now make note this series is completely nuts. Kate is a very caring leader, and appears to hold the members of Zvezda close to her heart. This implies that Kate views the rest of Zvezda as her family. In order to conquer the world, they must defeat an organization called White Light, which is contracted out by the Japanese Government to defeat Zvezda and put an end to their plots of World Conquest once and for all. White light is composed of Renge Komadori, (also known as White Robin), Miki Shirasagi, (also known as White Egret), and Kaori Hayabusa, (also known as White Falcon). Asuta Jimon (Dva) - At the very least, Kate has fondness for Asuta. Although Asuta expresses doubt in her ideology and some of her plans, Kate appears to be comfortable around Dva, to the extent where she fell asleep on his back. The thing that makes this series work is it extremely colourful and unique characters the populate it. It takes it from reality into the surreal very quickly. Itsuka Shikabane (Plamya) - Itsuka admira Kate, and is completely dedicated to her because of her outward appearance and her cute personality. She appears to even want to apply Kate clothes during her Venera transformation sequence , which Kate allows, suggesting that the affection is not unappreciated. However, at certain times, Kate does express a small degree of aversion for more amatory actions, muttering things such as "stop it". The series is hilarious in its own right, not sure whether it is intended to be funny, but the overall insanity of it makes you crack up and laugh. Yasu is a turncoat of Zvezda, and lacks usefulness as a member to begin with. Outside Zvezda she dresses in a high school uniform implying she's younger than her strength and personality would suggest. When she's conversing with Kate, she becomes amorous and exetremely caring for her, but she usually treats others with aggression and never comes up short on threats. When Itsuka emerges from the kitchen, the other Zvezda members flee for their lives. Plamya openly displays her infatuation with Kate's petite body, saying that she "doesn't need to get any bigger" in her sleep. Besides her quite creepy behavior, she acts as a somewhat nice big sister towards her and would kill in order to please Kate. When upset, she cries out "Onee-san" and clinges to Kate like when she was younger. Moments like that does add a bit of a creep factor to it, very sexualised imagery for such young characters is quite bizarre in its own right. Odin also known as Yasubee "Yasu" Morozumi is the self proclaimed "chief soldier" of Zvezda. He wears a mask just like Dva and other low ranking members of Zvezda, along with a jacket and hat that give him a slight cowboy theme. His loyalty to Zvezda stems from a fear of Kate Hoshimiya. This loyalty is easily swayed when other threats greater than Kate appear. It is shown that he and Goro were gangsters in the past, with Yasu working under Goro who he has both great respect and hear of. To conclude, this is a must see series, just for they wacky tone, insane characters and fast pace. Each episode gets more bizarre as it proceeds; so obviously we really enjoyed it here on the DSC. Go in with an open mind and...enjoy! SPECIAL FEATURES
