This is a spin-off prequel of the main series focusing on a freshman transfer student named Tsugumi Harudori, who befriends two other Meisters named Meme Tatane and Anya Hepburn as three take part in the "NOT" meaning the Normally Overcome Target class at Death Weapon Meister Academy. It is a fun little series, although I did enjoy the original soul eater, I found NOT actually more enjoyable. Tsugumi is confused as to what has happened. Later, at school, Tsugumi's classmates approach her, having heard she is leaving for the Death Weapon Meister Academy to learn how to regulate her newfound Demon Weapon abilities. Nervous at receiving such attention and demands to demonstrate her weapon abilities, Tsugumi tries to calm her classmates, claiming she is not yet able to transform at will. Tsugumi has been dreaming about this conversation with her classmates, awakened by a flight attendant who tells her that their plane is beginning their descent into Death City. Confused at Anya's refusal, the taxi driver is interrupted by Meme Tatane, a girl dressed in a Shibusen sweater but who cannot remember where she came from or her destination. Some of these characters we are already familiar with from the original series, however if you have never seen it, it the perfect opportunity to see them get truly fleshed out and their origins. While listening to music on her earbuds, Tsugumi carries her luggage onto a Death City bus—and brings with her a souvenir one of the merchants convinced her to buy. Upon seeing this incredibly long staircase, Tsugumi drops her brochure in astonishment. Death city is animated very well and once again draws you into this twisted universe the series is set in. Partway through her climb up the stairs, under the hot and cackling Sun, Tsugumi stops to catch her breath. Then Tsugumi sees a girl in a longcoat running up the stairs and who grabs the suitcase by its handle, carrying it up the stairs and dropping it by Tsugumi's side. As Maka turns around to continue her climb, Tsugumi, feeling renewed resolve, grabs her retrieved suitcase and continues the climb. Then Tsugumi learns that what is a short distance for Maka is still a long climb for Tsugumi. Tsugumi opens the can, takes a swig of the drink, and says it tastes like America. Then Tsugumi learns that what is a short distance for Maka is still a long climb for Tsugumi. Tsugumi opens the can, takes a swig of the drink, and says it tastes like America. Entering the Academy, Tsugumi finds a sign with Death pointing to her orientation classroom. Tsugumi is awaken from her reverie by the boisterous shouts of the ninja Black Star, who proceeds to punch another student in the face, knocking him past Tsugumi and into a wall. Black Star assumes Tsugumi is just too nervous to ask for his autograph, but Tsubaki Nakatsukasa approaches and guesses Tsugumi is a new student who is just nervous on her first day. Having escaped Black Star, Tsugumi sits alone on a staircase, alternating between a desire to return home and a drive to master her weapon abilities. Tsugumi stands and continues her walk to the orientation, until she realizes the labyrinthian design of the Academy has her lost. Anya avoids other students in the classroom, looking outside the window to see Death the Kid flying by on Beelzebub. Tsugumi approaches the orientation teacher, Sid Barett, to pick up her Weapon name tag, which she drops instantly. Anya continues to watch, impressed with Tsugumi but feigning disinterest as soon as she and Meme wave to her. Now not hat one thing to mention is that this series is actually FUNNY, thats something we don't see too often. Usually it is lost in translation from Japan, but here soul eater NOT! continues to keep up the humour in a clever way. The series moves t a steady pace; never feeling boring or drawn out. With all students arrived, Sid begins orientation by explaining that weapons will be partnered with meisters, who will guide the development of their transformation abilities. While Sid urges the weapons to be patient, Reid mocks any student who is so unprepared, as he and Hao discuss how they intend to gain female partners out of their lustful, lazy desires, frustrating Tsugumi. Tsugumi again desires to go home to a normal life, yet her desire to master her weapon abilities, her concern for Meme, and Maka's example motivates her to turn back. Before walking back, Tsugumi ties her hair into pigtails like Maka's. Meme refuses Reid's invitation, so Tsugumi takes Meme by the hand to leave. Hearing this insult, Anya thinks Tsugumi is even more of a commoner and steps forward, blocking Reid and Hao from approaching Tsugumi. Anya demands Tsugumi transform into a weapon, but she refuses, claiming she cannot yet fully transform, earning her more mockery from Hao and Reid. Anya criticizes Tsugumi for failing to be as "hardy" as she expected a commoner to be and proceeds with the fight without a weapon, slapping Hao's face. While Tsugumi is still too nervous to fight, she hears Sid call out to her to remember that she is now a student of Shibusen: she must imagine the blade hidden within her soul and to fight for what is right. Tsugumi closes her eyes and falls into her soul's space, as if sinking underwater. Although Hao mocks Tsugumi's lack of a blade, in Anya's hands, the weapon is more than a match against the bullies, quickly knocking them back across the hallway. Seeing Hao and Reid injured, Sid asks Clay to bring back Dr. Medusa to tend to the bullies' injuries. Meme thanks Tsugumi for defending her, then both thank Anya, who attempts to act uninterested. While Meme and Tsugumi think this partnership is settled, Anya then contradicts herself, teary-eyed and grabbing Tsugumi's arm. We will leave it there, but we hope we have given you a good idea on what this series is about and why it was so darn entertaining . Overall this series is recorded it is offbeat, very fun and surreal, anime fans should not miss this. SPECIAL FEATURES

World Conquest Zvezda Plot focuses on a little girl named Kate Hoshimiya , who is at the helm of an organization called Zvezda, which has the purpose of World Conquest. In her organization she is joined by Itsuka Shikabane (also known as Lady Plamya), Natalia "Natasha" Vasylchenko , Yasubee "Yasu" Morozumi, Goro Shikabane , and a robot named Roboko. One day, main character Asuta Jimon, a middle school boy who ran away from home due to family issues, ends up meeting Kate on the street, and subsequently getting roped into joining Zvezda with them. Venera is the leader of Zvezda, an organization with the objective of conquering the world.....now make note this series is completely nuts. Kate is a very caring leader, and appears to hold the members of Zvezda close to her heart. This implies that Kate views the rest of Zvezda as her family. In order to conquer the world, they must defeat an organization called White Light, which is contracted out by the Japanese Government to defeat Zvezda and put an end to their plots of World Conquest once and for all. White light is composed of Renge Komadori, (also known as White Robin), Miki Shirasagi, (also known as White Egret), and Kaori Hayabusa, (also known as White Falcon). Asuta Jimon (Dva) - At the very least, Kate has fondness for Asuta. Although Asuta expresses doubt in her ideology and some of her plans, Kate appears to be comfortable around Dva, to the extent where she fell asleep on his back. The thing that makes this series work is it extremely colourful and unique characters the populate it. It takes it from reality into the surreal very quickly. Itsuka Shikabane (Plamya) - Itsuka admira Kate, and is completely dedicated to her because of her outward appearance and her cute personality. She appears to even want to apply Kate clothes during her Venera transformation sequence , which Kate allows, suggesting that the affection is not unappreciated. However, at certain times, Kate does express a small degree of aversion for more amatory actions, muttering things such as "stop it". The series is hilarious in its own right, not sure whether it is intended to be funny, but the overall insanity of it makes you crack up and laugh. Yasu is a turncoat of Zvezda, and lacks usefulness as a member to begin with. Outside Zvezda she dresses in a high school uniform implying she's younger than her strength and personality would suggest. When she's conversing with Kate, she becomes amorous and exetremely caring for her, but she usually treats others with aggression and never comes up short on threats. When Itsuka emerges from the kitchen, the other Zvezda members flee for their lives. Plamya openly displays her infatuation with Kate's petite body, saying that she "doesn't need to get any bigger" in her sleep. Besides her quite creepy behavior, she acts as a somewhat nice big sister towards her and would kill in order to please Kate. When upset, she cries out "Onee-san" and clinges to Kate like when she was younger. Moments like that does add a bit of a creep factor to it, very sexualised imagery for such young characters is quite bizarre in its own right. Odin also known as Yasubee "Yasu" Morozumi is the self proclaimed "chief soldier" of Zvezda. He wears a mask just like Dva and other low ranking members of Zvezda, along with a jacket and hat that give him a slight cowboy theme. His loyalty to Zvezda stems from a fear of Kate Hoshimiya. This loyalty is easily swayed when other threats greater than Kate appear. It is shown that he and Goro were gangsters in the past, with Yasu working under Goro who he has both great respect and hear of. To conclude, this is a must see series, just for they wacky tone, insane characters and fast pace. Each episode gets more bizarre as it proceeds; so obviously we really enjoyed it here on the DSC. Go in with an open mind and...enjoy! SPECIAL FEATURES
Overall: 4/5HYPERDIMENSION NEPTUNIA: THE ANIMATION is a new anime series based upon a popular video game series; I personally have never played the game series, but I found the anime to be rather interesting and overall unique. F and Compa were on their way to see Neptune when they bumped into someone who then gave them a flyer. Meanwhile, Histoire pointed out to Neptune and Nepgear that the Sharicite's Share energy is declining recently, meaning "the hearts of the people are gradually drifting away from Neptune." Nepgear pointed out to Neptune that the reason might be because she hasn't done anything to make the people like her lately. IF and Compa later arrived and agreed that Neptune needs to work harder. Wanting to escape from Histoire's lecture, Neptune decided to "get some schooling of goddess arts" from Noire. Neptune and Nepgear went on their way to Lastation. Noire initially declined to help, which resulted in Neptune to tease her about her attitude being the reason why people say she doesn't have any friends. Nepgear went to find Uni, and they ended up conversing about how Noire is treating Uni as a sister and which of the CPU Candidates will be able to transform first. Nepgear received a text from Rom, stating that she knows that Nepgear is in Lastation. The series does require the viewer to pay complete attention as it does move at a fast pace , and the story does get quite complex at times, leaving you middle confused. In Lowee, Rom and Ram complained to an occupied Blanc about why they can't visit other nations, infuriating Blanc. Blanc resumed her webcam chat with Vert after the twins left from her outburst of irritation. Back in Lastation, Noire decided to help Neptune on learning the duties of a CPU. Seeing Neptune as one that can't handle paperwork, IF suggested teaching Neptune about being a goddess out on a mission. Neptune accepted the quest, a monster extermination job near Planeptune, that Noire picked for her. Noire handed the task of defeating the overrunning Dogoos in Nasuune Highlands to Neptune. Despite the overwhelming amount of Dogoos present, Neptune succeeded in defeating them all with Nepgear, Compa, and IF's help. The world that has been set up is very original and has its own life to it. After watching Neptune took care of Nasuune Highlands, Noire went to Toruune Cave. Noire was overwhelmed until Neptune arrived and helped her. Neptune and Noire was praised by the locals for defeating the monsters within the vicinity. In contrast to Neptune's hyper active and energetic behavior, Nepgear is a very shy girl who will over-apologize for even the tiniest of things. Once she has made a friend, no matter what they think of her later she will hold them closely, such as when Uni angrily left and began to hate Nepgear upon finding out that Nepgear fled and left their sisters behind. Perhaps the only thing she shares with her older sister is the fact she is also an airhead. In Planeptune, the Sharicite's power have increased due to gained Shares, but it was unknown whether it was due to Neptune completing her assigned mission or pictures of Nepgear that she accidentally sent and leaked on the Internet. On Lowee, Blanc overexerts herself with work, while her sisters Rom and Ram are pulling pranks much to her annoyance. Neptune, Nepgear, Vert, Noire, and Uni make a visit to Lowee and take Rom and Ram to an amusement park, while Blanc stays behind to continue working. But their plan was foiled when Neptune, Noire, and Vert arrive and use their HDD powers. IF and Nepgear arrive too late, only to be shocked by the sight of the captured CPUs. When the CPU's get captured, Nepgear tries to go save them, but IF stops her and they ride back to Leanbox. We will leave it there but the series was entertaining and well paced. It is certainly a mature series; A recommend for any fans of action based anime series with a twist. Overall: 3.5/ 5Who the hell would think a show about volleyball would be so entertaining or even remotely interesting? So lets get into what its all about; Shōyō Hinata is the main protagonist of the Haikyuu!! Hinata's dream is to become strong enough to spike past tall blockers just like what the Small Giant once did. That's why he specializes in jumping to compensate for his lack of height Shoyo Hinata is cycling around the streets when he pauses to watch a volleyball match on TV. On it is a volleyball match featuring a player nicknamed "Little Giant", who Hinata is inspired by. Hinata decides to start a volleyball team in his school with his schoolmates (though most of them aren't interested in volleyball). In the end, Kageyama easily wins (3-0) but Hinata vows revenge. Example of the combination of Hinata and Kageyama Hinata arrives at his new school, Karasuno High School (the same school where the "Little Giant" used to attend), determined to join the volleyball club and one day defeat Kageyama. The third years agree but on one condition: if Kageyama and Hinata lose, as long as the third years are around, Kageyama will never play as setter. He also tries to learn from mistakes made in past matches and can improve his skills merely by watching his opponents and teammates and trying to copy their movements, although most of the time he fails. After doing many flying falls during the summer training camp, Hinata's agility improved greatly. What's more, thanks to Bokuto, Hinata learned to how to feint which helps him surprise blockers. Hinata has also admitted to Keishin Ukai that when he's spiking and he's over the net, he can see the movements his opponents make and even the looks on their faces. The Formidable Ally Sawamura accepts the match proposal from Hinata and Kageyama, but he alters it. Sawamura reveals he will play on the opposing team and places Tanaka Ryuunosuke as Kageyama and Hinata's teammate for the match. Kageyama and Hinata meet fellow first years Kei Tsukishima and Tadashi Yamaguchi. In the secret morning practices, Kageyama, Hinata, and Tanaka work on improving Hinata's serve receives and his spikes. The show is very humorous, and the humour actually works because it is so well written. The dialogue comes surreal with great delivery from each of the players. The View From the Summit The 3-on-3 practice match that will determine Kageyama and Hinata's future with the volleyball club begins with Kageyama, Hinata, and 2nd year Ryuunosuke battling Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, and 3rd year captain Sawamura. Kageyama begins to fall into his old setting habits, making it hard for Hinata and Ryuunosuke to spike the ball. It looks like it will be an easy win in set 1 for the captain's team, but then Kageyama and Hinata start to succeed with their quick attack, which could completely change the outcome of the match. The new members Kageyama and Hinata begin to get in sync. As Kageyama's sets start hitting Hinata's hands every time, Tsukishima is forced to change his blocking tactics. This frees Tanaka up on the other side, and Kageyama, Hinata, and Ryuunosuke's team is able to rally and win the 3-on-3 match. Kageyama and Hinata are accepted as official team members. However there is one condition: Tobio Kageyama must act as the setter for the entire match. Karasuno goes to its practice match against Aobajousai High. Before the match even begins, Kageyama runs into his old teammate, Kindaichi Yutaro, who continually calls him "King of the Court" and declares that he will defeat Kageyama. As the series progresses; the suspense builds. The actually moment of volleyball action is some of the best I’ve ever seen in an anime series, which is credited to the great directing in each episode. Once the match gets underway though, Kageyama and Hinata's quick attack proves to be an effective weapon. but Ittetsu comes up with a plan that he believes will convince Keishin into becoming the coach: setting up a practice match with Nekoma. After hearing about the practice match, Keishin Ukai agrees to become Karasuno's coach but after the practice match finishes, he's quitting. Now, Asahi must prove that he deserves the ace title and get past the triple block of Kageyama, Tanaka, and Tsukishima to regain his confidence. The practice match between Karasuno and the Neighborhood Association continues, the Neighborhood team having won the first set. Ukai sees firsthand how Hinata is the ultimate decoy and learns how quickly Kageyama and Hinata have grown together as a duo. During a team jog, Hinata gets lost and runs into a volleyball player in a red jersey named Kenma. After hesitating to decide on a starting lineup, Ukai goes with Daichi, Nishinoya, Asahi, Tanaka, Tsukishima, Kageyama, and Hinata. Karasuno's players receive their jerseys and Hinata has the number 10, the same number as his idol, the "Little Giant." Nekoma and Karasuno line up outside and meet each other face-to-face. Anyway we will leave it at there; as there is so much more to this quirky series than you would expect. Overall we found this series very fast paced, clever and highly fun. It just proves you can take any concept or idea and turn it into an anime very, very successfully. SPECIAL FEATURES
Overall: 4/5This is probably one of the funniest anime I have seen in recent years, it is a self aware commentary on the otters culture. Having a light novel author father and an eroge illustrator mother, Kanou Shinichi is a thoroughbred otaku. At first it runs as a comedy but later there are serious matters that Shinichi needs to face: ethnic discrimination, social problems, conflict with neighboring countries, sabotage by opposition elements including Japanese government, etc. Can he overcome the obstacles, successfully bring "Moe" culture to the fantasy world, and help the people there as well? Well to start off; Kanou Shinichi Is the main protagonist of the series. At the start of the series, Shinichi was given the position of general manager for [General Entertainment Company Amu Tech]. He was unwittingly sent to the "Holy Empire of Erdant", a fantasy-like world where otaku culture is absent. His job given by the Japanese government is to spread the "Otaku" culture so that Japan can enter its economy. By learning more about this new world, it's possible to find a good solution. It is already pointing the finger at the otaku market in a self aware manor, leading to the hilarious array of events to follow. Long ago, Shinichi confessed to his childhood friend, but was rejected immediately after for being an otaku. He was told to find a job, forcing him to to leave his Hikikomori life. He comes from a familiy of four: a light novel author for a father, an eroge illustrator as his mother and a little sister called Shizuki, that is way better than her brother. Being very familiar and knowledgeable on Otaku culture, he cannot stand people who discriminate Otaku culture, which results in him clashing with the hierarchal culture of Erdant. While generally accepting of most character archetypes, he cannot get used to the "Imouto Chara", partly due to his real life experience. I am not sure whether this series is trying to be a social commentary on Otaku addicts in general? A female Self-Defence Forces member who serves as Shinichi's escort. She has an F-cup, which causes Shinichi to often ogle at them. She is an Otaku as well, seemingly at the same level as Shinichi, and also a hardcore Fujoshi. She tends to have wild delusions of a Shinichi and Garius pairing. This is also one of the reasons why Minori entered the JSDF. Myucel Foalan is his personal assistant, really aiming for the fan service maid. At first, she hides her elf ears from Shinichi, but since he didn't mind her race even after discovering the truth, she started showing them whilst in the mansion. Due to some complicated family problems, she hasn't seen her mother in a very long time, but that doesn't mean she dislikes her. She thinks of herself as a lowly servant, while Shinichi thinks of her as a friend. Myucel eventually learns to treat Shinichi as a friend too. She thinks of herself as a lowly servant, while Shinichi thinks of her as a friend. Myucel eventually learns to treat Shinichi as a friend too. She used to be a soldier for 2 years, being able to cast a few magic spells. She treated the first handwritten Hiragana Table that Shinichi gave her with much care. From the start she planned to use it to study alone, but since Shinichi started to help her with her studies she started learning it faster. Furthermore, when Petrarca started to studying the Japanese language, her will became stronger, spurning her to learn more. Due to that, she is presently working as a Japanese lecturer at the school provided by Amutech to spread Otaku culture. But due to the coup d'etat incident, when she protected Petrarca at the risk of her own life, she started to treat her as an equal. The series I felt could have been longer in terms of expanding the universe, i really wished there was a mother season as it was really fun and hilarious. This was a surprisingly entertaining show. There are a bunch of anime stereotypes, the loyal maid, the loli tsundere empress, the large breasted beast girl, but they all fit here, because this is a story about otaku after all. Great humour, plus there was never a dull moment and the overall epic universe it creates its own place. This belongs in every Anime fans libraries. Extras: As usual Madman provides us with the credits opening and closing titles. Overall: 4.5/5Last month we reviewed Nisekoi False Love; it was a surprisingly good and quirky romantic series. Now this month Madman has returned to bring us Part 2 in this intriguing series. Picking up right after episode 10, Tsugumi plans a surprise birthday party for Chitoge, and invites Raku and his friends, Ruri makes Kosaki go with Raku to shop for a gift for Chitoge. Raku finds his time with Kosaki to be fleeting, but Kosaki shows Raku a scenic overlook. For example, when Raku lost his pendant once again from the chain being broken, Chitoge had secretly gotten the Beehive gang to help fix it for him and gave it back later that night. She's somewhat oblivious when it comes to love and others' love interests, like how she didn't know what Tsugumi's "symptoms" were, which was actually love. Chitoge reveals that she has a key that could unlock Raku's locket, but when they try tot unlock it, her key breaks. While Raku's locket is being repaired, Raku thinks about who might be the one he made a love promise to. As Raku comes home, Raku's father mentions he has a photo of the girl that Raku made a promise to ten years ago. Raku's father has made a reputation among many and Marika's father plans on throwing him into jail after Raku's father cut him across his face, leaving a scar. I feel as if this season really does delve more into the characters backgrounds, giving us a sense of who they are and what their purpose is. This series is a lot faster paced than the previous one, making it an easier watch. He knows that Raku, Chitoge, Kosaki, and Marika had met and played together ten years ago but knows little or nothing about who the promise girl is. The origins of some of the characters are explained too as here we learn ten years ago, Raku's father had made a promise to Marika's father to have Marika marry to Raku but forgot about it until he was told that Marika was coming over to meet Raku.aku's father is an old man and therefore has long gray hair and bushy gray eyebrows. After Raku's father tells him the location of where to find the photo, Raku discovers that the girl in the photo is someone else, and that she also has a different key. Raku's father tells them that the girl in the photo is coming to school tomorrow and that she is actually Raku's fiancée. Baffled by the fact that the girl in the photo is Raku's fiancée, the aforementioned girl transfers in Raku's class as Marika Tachibana, the daughter of the police chief. During their date, Marika bribes Raku into ending his relationship with Chitoge in exchange for answering all his questions regarding the girl and the promise he made ten years ago. Raku refuses, furthermore adding that he has no past memories with Marika, inciting within Marika her vulgar persona and bursts into a tantrum, causing Raku to finally recognize Marika. Marika has been frail since her childhood, so she went to the mountain side with her father because of the clean environment. And there she met Ichijou Raku, the two of them became friends and Raku used to visit her in the hospital room everyday and brought items for her from the forest. Movement like this are very emotional and do impact the viewer quite a bit on the sad nature of the subplots. Marika used to call Raku, "Raku-kun" and Raku called her, "Mari", because Marika's father also called her with that name. Marika also somewhat strives to be independent and free due to being secluded for a long time due to her weak body and by the time she met Raku in her childhood. However, Marika's past revealed that the latter is considered to be very vulgar and manipulative when she was able to control an entire school from the shadows. As shown during Valentine's day, she is able to craft a statue of Raku made of chocolate and, as aforementioned, currently gaining money on her own house to live with Raku. Marika is also considered to be mischievous yet cunning as she was able to devise a plot for Raku to openly shout out that he "loves" Marika which involves her pet parrot - "Raku-sama" (Master Raku). I did enjoy this season, in fact better than the last. It was faster paced, more funny and the characters really did get their identities better. Please check out this series if you like your anime dramas in general; it is a fun piece of work that should keep you busy. Overall: 4/5Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai is a light novel adaptation produced by Kyoto Animation with Ishihara Tatsuya as director. Its a new series on the block that comes to Yuuta Togashi is a boy who, during junior high school, had 'adolescent delusions' and believed that he possessed supernatural powers and dubbed himself the 'Dark Flame Master,' therefore alienating himself from his classmates. This proves to be difficult, however, as a delusional girl in his class, Rikka Takanashi, learns of Yuuta's past and becomes interested in him. Yuuta Togashi is a high school freshman and was once a "chūnibyō patient", precisely an overly self-conscious middle schooler (Evil Eye-Type). He used up most of his New Year’s savings on Dark Flame Master gear, chanted spells before meals, and meditated under fluorescent lights in the form of a pyramid at night. As Yuuta Togashi throws away his past delusions of grandeur in order to start high school with a clean slate, he encounters a curious girl climbing down his balcony. However, he is asked by the teacher to walk Rikka home, as she had only moved in with her older sister, Tōka Takanashi, who lives above Yuuta's apartment, the day before. Upon arriving home, Yuuta helps Rikka move her belongings into her apartment. Later, Rikka manages to convince Yuuta not to throw away his old belongings. The shows pacing is quite steady, it doesn't seem to be very action packed at first, being more of a character study overall. Rikka Takanashi is a "chūnibyō patient" who enrolls into the same high school as Yuuta Togashi. As shown when Yuuta convinced her to give up her chūnibyō behavior, the real reason for her chūnibyō was to "protect" herself from the reality of her father's death. Rikka Takanashi finds a stray cat, which she claims is a chimera, though she could not keep it in her apartment due to Touka Takanashi's allergy to cats, whilst Yuuta Togashi refuses to take it in himself. Meawhile, Yuuta finds himself nervous around the class president, Shinka Nibutani, which becomes more awkward when Rikka shows up. Both Yuuta and Kumin go to Rikka's apartment, filled with all sorts of oddities, though the cat turns out not to be Kumin's. Around this point we do get to know the characters quite well and they start to be come fleshed out. After Touka swiftly punishes Rikka for bringing the cat in, she asks Yuuta to get rid of it, threatening to expose Yuuta's chūnibyō behavior if he refuses. Additional plot points begin at this stage to keep us questioning the integrity of the series. As Rikka runs off with the cat, Yuuta runs off with the audio evidence and they both try to escape Touka, but are eventually caught. Afterwards, Yuuta agrees to take in the cat. As Yuuta becomes curious about what club to join, Rikka decides she wants to start her own 'Far Eastern Magic Society' club, roping both Yuuta and Kumin to join. After trying out a few other clubs, Rikka calls on her similarly delusional friend from the school's middle school department, Sanae Dekomori, to join as well. This is when the story truly begins to start picking up and the basis of fantasy elements begin to come into play. Despite lacking a fifth member, the teacher offers them a provisional clubroom on the condition that they clean it up and recommends them as a circle. As Yuuta denies wanting to join the club himself, his resolve soon falters when Shinka also decides to join the group. As Yuuta becomes curious about why Shinka would want to join the hobby group, she asks to go to his home on Sunday. We won't spoil anymore and leave it at there in terms of the magic elements . Yuuta attempts to get Rikka out of the way on that day by sending her and Sanae off on a wild goose chase. As Shinka arrives at Yuuta's home, she frantically ravishes his room searching for Sanae's book that Yuuta had in his room. Overall this series was highly entertaining and quite unusual in its overall premise. It is tightly paced and never drifts off with its story line, staying focused, engaging and overall intriguing. It has an array of colourful and liable characters and we found the series to be very entertaining. I found myself quite hooked as I had no idea where the series was turning next. Raku refuses, furthermore adding that he has no past memories with Marika, inciting within Marika her vulgar persona and bursts into a tantrum, causing Raku to finally recognize Marika.Marika has been frail since her childhood, so she went to the mountain side with her father because of the clean environment. And there she met Ichijou Raku, the two of them became friends and Raku used to visit her in the hospital room everyday and brought items for her from the forest.
Freezing Vibration is a new series, it is a somewhat successor to the cult anime series Freezing. It is much darker than Freezing and overall a better more solid series. Essentially Satellizer, Kazuya and Rana are en-route to a Chevalier base in Alaska when they are called for help to defend an oil field from a Type-S Nova. This project aims to make young women who aren't genetically compatible with Stigmata into Pandoras; At the Alaskan base where the world's top Pandoras have gathered, Chiffon introduces the others to Roxanne Elipton, Charles Bonaparte and Julia Munberk, the top Pandoras of Genetics America, France and Germany respectively. Together with Cassie and Chiffon, the five of them are the top five Pandoras of their generation. After the girls try on their new uniforms, Scarlett explains why she gathered the Pandoras: the plan is to collect data to help the E-Pandora Project. When Roxanne comments Scarlett may have performed human experiments before the E-Pandora Project was approved, she is angrily confronted by a trio of E-Pandoras. The series has a post punk feel, with the Pandoras representing a creation of mans desires and destruction to kill. There is no one protagonist to this series, although it can argued Satellizer L. Bridget is the main heroine of the series and one of the strongest Pandoras in West Genetics. She was formerly ranked the number one second-year Pandora before being demoted to the 2nd rank due to Kazuya's interference during the ongoing Carnival tournament. Known as the Untouchable Queen because of her intense aphephobia, she is feared by the students for her cold and ruthless personality. It is revealed that she transferred to West Genetics from East Genetics after brutally injuring Levon Brooks, a Limiter with a playboy personality who wanted her to become his Pandora. However, Louis' mistreatment later turned into sexual abuse and Satellizer was forced to endure it as her mother was terminally ill and did not want their family situation to worsen. Following her mother's death, Satellizer became a Pandora on the orders of her father. The series does delve into this sexual content thus why it has received an R 18+ rating, it does get very dark at times . Due to the abuse she suffered she hates being touched and goes berserk if anyone touches her; Later a mock battle is held between the Genetics Pandoras and E-Pandoras to test their strengths. but Amelia cheers up her comrades by telling them they will defeat the Genetics Pandoras, who they consider haughty elites due to their coming from rich families, while they themselves came from worse backgrounds. Having said that the series is quite humorous at times, with little jokes here and there. The next day at lunch, Amelia, Gina and Rattle are surprised to find Elizabeth having lunch with them. Elizabeth assures the E-Pandoras that they only lost because the Genetics Pandoras had longer training and experience than them; she and the other Genetics Pandoras will help them to become as strong as the Genetics Pandoras. Meanwhile, Secretary Marks Spencer orders Scarlett to administer the "Mark IV" drug to the E-Pandoras despite her opposition. Scarlett reveals the Mark IV proposition to the E-Pandoras and Genetics Pandoras, explaining it to be a nano-machine infusion containing Genetics Pandora data to enhance the E-Pandoras' compatibility with their Stigmata. Afterwards, the Genetics Pandoras discuss the timing of this use of Mark IV and its viability. The violence really begins to show when the battles in the series take place. Usually brutally faced paced with no remorse, especially in training. While Satellizer and Rana train competitively, Amelia meets with Scarlett to discuss her concerns about the use of Mark IV; Back in training, Satellizer manages to prevent a confrontation between Rana and Gina over Rattle's eating habits. Amelia confronts Gina about volunteering for the Mark IV drug; Later, Gina thanks Satellizer and reveals that it's Satellizer's data she'll be using; Desiring to see Amelia and Rattle again, Gina breaks free of the lab while Spencer orders the mobilization of selected Genetics Pandoras to stop her. Personally one of my favourite characters would be Roxanne Elipton. Known as the Immortal Roxanne is among the top 5 of the world's strongest Pandora, with the rank of #1. As revealed during the 12th Nova Clash, Roxanne was a member and the focus of Project Fairchild Buster, a clandestine American initiative which goal was to create a Pandora capable of overcoming Japan's Chiffon Fairchild. It creates a world of its own, entrancing you in its world. As the series progresses Satellizer departs as she remembers the match with Gina; Elizabeth visits Satellizer after being turned away by Dr. O'Hara while investigating and warns her to stay away. Overall this is a very unusual series, it is highly entertaining never the less. The highly sexualised imagery alone makes it a curious watch, then place in a backdrop or a surprisingly good story and you one a solid anime series. Recommended; however with a warning to lighter anime viewers in regards to the dark sexual abuse aspect of the series. Overall: 4/5Nisekoi False Love is a new Anime series that presents itself as a romantic comedy, yes that is true to a degree but this series is actually quite funny and have an interesting array of charters. Raku Ichijō , the son of a Yakuza boss, wishes to live an ordinary life and become a public servant. Raku realizes he has lost his locket that contains memories of his first love, because of the collision, and asks Chitoge to help look for it. After several days their relationship gets worse that Raku tells Chitoge to stop looking. Afterwards, Raku's father tells Raku that he is to be in a fake dating relationship with a girl from a rival gang in order for their gangs to make peace, but the girl turns out to be Chitoge. Raku Ichijō presents himself to be quite civilized and highly altruistic, except when he encounters a person with a lack of respect or regard for him or others around him. During the date, Chitoge tells Raku to get her a soda but as he leaves, gangsters try to flirt with her and make her come with them. At the bathroom, Chitoge overhears a Yakuza member saying that he isn't convinced that Raku and Chitoge are really in a relationship, so Chitoge decides to amp up the act however, when she returns, Raku and Chitoge encounter with Kosaki which causes difficulty for Raku to tell her about them "dating". Chitoge ends up telling her the that their dating but gets mad at Raku almost spilling the truth and leaves. Kosaki answers no and leaves but as she gets home, she is shown to have a key and regrets telling Raku that she has seen his locket before. For example, when Raku lost his pendant once again from the chain being broken, Chitoge had secretly gotten the Beehive gang to help fix it for him and gave it back later that night. This is when the series has elements of suspense, leaving you wondering what is coming up next in the storyline. She's somewhat oblivious when it comes to love and others' love interests, like how she didn't know what Tsugumi's "symptoms" were, which was actually love. Throughout the series, it is noted that she is a very bad cook due to the fact that she never measures ingredients and adds random things to the dish that she thinks will make the dish taste better. Raku also noted that she felt more womanly as Chitoge was meek and quite happy when he tried to buy a replacement ribbon for her and when she hugged him for finding her actual ribbon, but all in all, prefers her usual self better. It should be noted that she treasured the ribbon for two key reasons: first, because her mother gave it to her, and second, because Raku told her when they were young that it would look good on her. The characters begin to develop at quite a rapid rate, also the pacing is appropriately spaced out. Raku and Chitoge experience difficulty in putting up their fake relationship act after their first date, and since Kosaki met them at the park for their date, she spread word about them dating to their classmates. They try telling their classmates that their relationship is fake but Chitoge's bodyguard, Claude, watches over them to check if Raku and Chitoge are actually dating. This gives Raku a hard time to tell Kosaki the misunderstanding of his relationship with Chitoge. This is when the series becomes awkwardly funny. Chitoge becomes furious at first but willingly accepts Raku's offer to help her make the notebook because he used to make one too when he had trouble making friends. Overall a quirky and unusual series, it is funny and keeps going at a great pace. It does stand out of the flood romantic anime series dues to the chapters and Yakuza idea. Overall check it out.
